The Battle: Roar to Victory 2017

In the 1920’s, Korean liberation fighters Hwang Hae Cheol (Yoo Hai Jin) and his team are tasked with delivering crucial funds to the Korean Provisional Government in Shanghai while battling Japanese military forces in Manchuria. Joined by skilled sniper Ma Byung Gu (Jo Woo Jin) and young squad commander Lee Jang Ha (Ryu Jun Yeol), the group embarks on a dangerous mission through enemy territory. Their journey culminates in a fierce four-day battle against Japanese forces near Fengwudong, where this small band of militiamen courageously fights for Korea’s independence. This is a 2019 South Korean period action film directed by Won Sin Yeon that commemorates a significant moment in Korea’s struggle against Japanese colonial rule.
