The Dragnet 2021

Given the fact that the Chinese police do not have the right to enforce the law overseas, the investigation task force led by Director Gao Xiaotian works alongside foreign judiciaries, during which they show great talent, courage as well as excellent detective skills. They hunt down Lin Guoxiong, a Taiwanese criminal mastermind who swindled millions from the Chinese mainland through telecom scams. They also persuade two key witnesses in a high-level government official corruption case to go back to China and testify against him in court. In a South American country, the team also takes out two local gangs that plague the local Chinese. The members of the task force travel afar and work 24/7 in order to protect the interests of the Chinese people and ensure the national security of China.
